The legislation provides for a sentence adjustment for pregnant women or women with young children
Chapter 6, paragraph 28 of the “Rules of the Ministry of Justice “ (in Polish) provides for a sentence adjustment for pregnant women.

Convicted women who are pregnant or breastfeeding are entitled to extended walking periods and can buy extra authorised food items available for sale in the prison.
Specific disciplinary sanctions are not allowed for this group of prisoners, such as withholding the ability to receive food parcels for up to three months, restricting or denying opportunities to purchase foodstuffs or tobacco for a duration of up to three months, and placing them in solitary confinement for a period of up to 28 days.
Required conditions for conjugal visits

There are no specific indications about the conditions required to be allowed conjugal visits. The decision is made by the prison governor.

Conjugal visits are considered “rewards” that can be granted to a prisoner demonstrating good behaviour. Such a reward can also be awarded to encourage the prisoner to improve their conduct, according to Article 137 of the Executive Penal Code.
